Chalk Signage
My side business of making chalkboard signs for various events (but predominately weddings), began rather organically. The very first one I created was as a favor to one of my best girlfriends. After realizing how much I enjoyed the art of hand lettering, I started an Etsy site to receive and manage all the business that was being sent my way, as a result of referrals and social media sharing. I hadn't anticipated the business I would receive. During 2014-2016 I worked on over thirty different signs, each one customized for the client and freehand painted with either chalk marker ink or acrylic paint.
I was spotlight featured in the January/February 2016 bridal issue of 805 Living Magazine.
